ComputerFox Location in Southport
part of Upcoming Movie.
The Computer Fox in Southport was leased for a day so
it could be converted into a 1950's style setting for the upcoming
movie Revolutionary Road Starring Leonardo Dicaprio. Robert Frank the
ComputerFox CEO said "although we are uncertain as to how much
footage, if any at all of the ComputerFox will be featured in the
upcoming movie we are delighted with the fact that beautiful historic
Southport was selected as a filming location."
The locations Department forwarded a letter to all
local merchants the letter describes the film as follows:
"DWNY Productions, Inc. is currently in
production on a motion picture entitled REVOLUTIONARY ROAD. Based on a
Richard Yates' 1961 novel, REVOLUTIONARY ROAD is a 1950s drama set in
New York City and Connecticut. The film will feature Kate Winslet
(Little Children, Finding Neverland, Titanic); Sam Mendes (American
Beauty, The Road to Perdition, Jarhead) will direct."
